Am I A Jerk

I’m really into technology and I like to keep on the cutting edge of the new gadgets when they hit the shelves. Now Mars handed me this study, which got me thinking, “Am I a jerk?”…
I’d like to think that I’m not THAT guy that always has the latest technological gadget, the first to get a plasma TV, and the first to get the new iPhone. And chances are, the first guy that just LOVES rubbing it in your face.
If you know a guy like this and like so many avid gadget buyers is probably kind of a jerk. And according to a new survey, that makes TOTAL sense.
According to the survey, THIS is the profile of your average Gadget Junkie:
#1.) He's a young, relatively wealthy male.
#2.) He has a low level of modesty . . . meaning he's kind of an arrogant jerk.
#3.) He tends to buy ONLY luxury brands.
I do like the gadgets but not so much the flossing. Does this sound like anyone you know? Are you this guy?
No money to burn...
I'm frankly the opposite of this kind of person. I generally tend to wait a year or 2 before buying "the next big thing". The way I see it is, if I've lived this long without it, I can certainly wait til it drops in price. I mean, why not wait a little bit longer, pay half of what it originally cost & laugh at all the "jerks" who paid full price? LOL
