E-Mail Spying

We all have that I.T. guy in your building who seems to fix one problem and create ten more? Well, now we know why he's not doing a good job…

According to a new survey by Cyber-Ark Software, your I.T. guy might be spending less time working and more time snooping.

Check this out ONE in THREE I.T. workers admit to peeking at confidential information such as payrolls, private files, H.R. reports and even reading your personal e-mails.

Another 47% say they've accessed information that wasn't relevant to their job such as your work files and administrative information.

Even when the I.T. dude isn't at work, ONE in THREE can STILL access the company's network from home even if he's no longer employed with that company.

So this got me thinking…

I went to my I.T. guy B-Rad and asked him if this is true, and he did say that yes he can access my personal e-mails and then showed me one that all the guys at work had a good laugh over…

Hey Crash,

I noticed that you left your dirty gauch on the floor near the shower AGAIN. I stepped on them as I came out of the shower this morning and they were still warm. As well I did get a flash of your bum as you darted from the office into your bedroom, so if you’re going to walk around the house naked while I’m in the shower just yell that your nude when I get out and I’ll wait for you to get your robe on. Oh, and it is a little weird when you stand with your legs spread over the airconditioning vent.
