    We are pleased to bring Winterruption back for a second year. As part of the 2017 RFF Concert Series and with a taste of the summer Festival itself, we at the RFF have partnered with The Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon to present 3 wonderful days of musical warmth on some of the coldest days of the year. On Jan. 19, 20, & 21 Regina will get a whole lot cooler thanks to Winterruption. Our first year was a success with every show selling out, so we've upped the ante! This year, there will be 3 more events and 10 more artistic groups as part of the mini-festival.

  • CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

    The Chinese Freemasons of Canada (Regina) are proud to present the Chinese New Year Celebration, January 21, 2017 at the Casino Regina Show Lounge.

    This year will be a formal evening with exciting program of cultural entertainment, a special charity live Auction and Raffle ticket ($10.00 each). All of the proceeds of the event will be donated to the Hospital of Regina Foundation in support of the Emergency Department at the Regina General Hospital.

    2013 marks the 150th  Anniversary of the Chinese Freemasons of Canada. The Chinese Freemasons Society was originally formed so that immigrant laborers and merchants working for the Canadian pacific Railway would have a place where they could feel a sense of cultural community.

    As the signature industry event of the winter season, the Cannes Lions Screening is an opportunity to rub elbows with clients and colleagues, and to enjoy a screening of the best TV commercials produced in the last year from around the world, including Canada.

    Screening of the Cannes Lions Reel is made possible nationally by the Globe and Mail with the support of Strategy magazine, the Association of Quebec Advertising Agencies, NABS and ICA.

    The National Advertising Benevolent Society – NABS is an organization created by members of the advertising and communications industry for the benefit of their members and colleagues. NABS was founded in England over 80 years ago and the Canadian NABS organization was established in 1983.

    Today, there are offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and representation in the Halifax, Calgary and Edmonton markets. NABS is 100% funded by the industry and is a registered charity. NABS provides assistance with physical and mental illness, family tragedy, depression, alcohol and substance abuse, illness and injury, stress management and financial support for members and colleagues within our industry.

     Proceeds of this event go to NABS.

    Hoy Sun Association of Saskatchewan are proud to hold the 20th Anniversary Buffet in Regina on January 28, 2017.  The buffet will be at China Liang Buffet from 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm. With seatings at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

    Tickets are $20 each and the Buffet is FREE for seniors 65+.

  • WALK FOR ALZHEIMER'S

    This event is a fun indoor walk where families, friends, and co-workers raise funds to support the work of the Alzheimer Society. The walk will be held at the University of Regina Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport. It will include a short opening program, followed by the first lap made in memory and to honor all those fighting Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

    Fun activities for children and adults alike, including a bouncy castle and photobooth. This year participate in the best dressed team contest!

    Over 19,000 people in Saskatchewan living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Support our resource centres in six different Health Regions providing direct support to clients and our 40 support groups across the province

  • KINSMEN CELEBRITY SPORTS DINNER

    Support the Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner on Friday, February 3rd at TCU Place.

    Pay tribute to hockey legend Guy Lafleur with super star Mario Lemieux, GM of the Montreal Canadiens Mark Bergevin, Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada and special guests.

    All proceeds from this event are distributed back into the community.
