The Better Business Beruo of Saskatchewan is recognizing and celebrating ethical businesses from across the province that exemplify leadership in actively demonstrating and upholding ethical business practices in their daily business operations, public and community interactions, and employee, vendor and customer relationships.

    Itinerary of the event:

Afternoon: The BBB Panel for the Pursuit of Ethics explores ethical topics as they relate to business and community interactions. This year, the theme is “Commitment – To Business, To Ethics, To Community.” There will be three panelists who will lend their experiences to the topic, as well as guide a learning discussion among attendees.  This is the second year a panel is being offered, and was well received last year.

Evening: The Torch Awards Gala dinner and award celebration brings recognition to those businesses that have demonstrated through a competitively judged process they seek the highest standards of leadership character and organizational ethics. The Awards brings attention to the practices that these organizations employ to generate a high level of trust, among their employees, customers and their communities. There will be networking opportunities, a dinner, quartet entertainment, and award ceremony.

Come help support the students of the University of Regina!

The University of Regina is dedicated to helping ensure each student’s post-secondary journey is a positive life experience marked by academic success.  We accomplish that in many ways – from offering academic scholarships and workshops, to facilitating student volunteer opportunities and providing career counseling.

To complement these initiatives, we host an annual event that not only raises important funds for student scholarships but is a lot of fun!

Tickets are $250 per individual or $2500 per table sponsor. They are available at www.prairiekp.ca. Tickets are available online until April 22, or until they sell out.

At this unique fundraiser, the University of Regina brings an East Coast favorite – a Maritime kitchen party – to the prairies.  This casual party, hosted by the University of Regina President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons, includes live music, dancing, delicious food (Atlantic lobster dinner!), and great company.
